Slover Linett’s senior associate for the performing arts, Chloe Chittick Patton, will be in Los Angeles for the fifth annual Arts Reach National Arts Marketing and Development Conference on October 22nd and 23rd. She looks forward to talking about audiences, donors, and research with colleagues from around the country.
One of only a few national conferences on arts marketing and fundraising, the annual Arts Reach gathering draws theater, classical music, dance, and visual arts professionals, along with presenting organizations and funders, to discuss ways of increasing engagement and broadening support for the arts.
Chittick Patton is looking forward to her first visit to the Arts Reach conference. “It's really important for all of us in the arts to swap notes about what’s working and what isn’t,” she says. “As a researcher, I’ll be listening both to what we’re learning about audiences and how organizations are learning it — what roles research plays in their decision-making about marketing, programming, fundraising, and other areas.”
Chittick Patton is looking forward to continuing some conversations and beginning others. If you’re attending the conference, please let Chloe know.
