Slover Linett's e-newsletter about audiences and culture—from the arts to informal science learning.

That legendary advice comes from Yogi Berra. And last month, we took it.

As you probably know, Slover Linett Strategies had grown into two distinct research & evaluation practices under one roof: one focused on the culture sector (museums, performing arts organizations, science communication, and the like) and one working with colleges and universities. In late 2012, we were offered an opportunity that would allow us to serve both of those communities with even sharper focus — and, in the case of higher ed, at a bigger scale.

We ‘took’ that fork in the road, and we’re very pleased to let you know that our higher ed team is now a proud part of Huron Consulting Group. Read more here.

This means that our work with culture and informal learning organizations can flourish and deepen in ways that will be valuable to our clients and the field at large. Stay tuned in the coming weeks and months for news of our Boston office opening, new projects from coast to coast, a revamped website and new social media voice, and the launch of our nonprofit cousin, Culture Kettle.

Meanwhile, you’ll notice a slightly different name and logo—Slover Linett Audience Research—and a new URL and email addresses: (Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to reach us at the old email addresses for some time.)

Please join us in celebrating this new era. We wouldn’t be where we are today without colleagues, clients, and friends like you. And don’t hesitate to ask Peter Linett any questions that are on your mind.

I hadn’t fully considered the human dimension, including how it would feel to lose some wonderful colleagues. More »
